Coloured Surfacing
Green surfaces for bus and cycle lanes, red surfaces at pedestrian crossings, “Slow” markings etc.
Resin Surfaces generally use Methyl Methacrolate resin with entrained bauxite for skid resistance for its coloured surfacing work. Though we can also do coloured resin and coloured natural or glass aggregate work if the client prefers.
We have what is currently the only MMA spraying machine, designed for surfacing work in the country. It mixes the resin with calcined bauxite chip and sprays it on the road. This provides a better texture than rolled surfaces and relies on the entrained aggregate for texture and skid resistance, rather than roller marks.
