Red Patches at crossings, North Shore Auckland – Late 2019
In Late 2019 Resin Surfaces won a job working directly for Auckland Transport, installing Red patches with “Slow” markings on them at 15 crossings near schools on Aucklands North Shore.

Auckland Transport have been specifying High Friction surfacing work on the Auckland Network as part of their Safety improvement programs. The photo here shows work done on Mangere Rd in the spring of 2019, and 10-year-old work done on Hillsborough Rd in summer 2010.
In early 2019 we were approached by Sinlait Milk, who were re-branding, and wanted to incorporate their new colour scheme into their plant at Rakaia, south of Christchurch. Having seen the pink bridge that we did in 2015, Synlait wished to create a similar dramatic treatment for their health and safety walkway through the plant.
In the Autumn of 2019, Resin Surfaces laid the graphics on the He Ara Kotahi bridge. The bridge spans the Manawatu River, and is part of a walking and cycling path, that connects Palmerston North with Linton Military camp, Massey University and other locations to the south of the Manawatu river.
In mid-2017, Resin Surfaces replaced some of the ply panels on (what is now) the Rainbow bridge on the cycleway at Carrington and painted the bridge rainbow stripes. However, the existing ply panels had been in service for about 10 years, and continued to delaminate and cause problems.
In the summer of 2018 Resin Surfaces constructed the Cycle way on Federal Street from Fanshaw st to Victoria Street.
In the Spring of 2017, Resin surfaces laid the graphics on the “Perry Cycle Bridge”, over the Waikato River at Ngaruawahia. The Bridge is part of the Te Awa Cycleway, which in turn is part of the Te Araroa Trail, from North Cape to the Bluff.
In Early 2017 Resin Surfaces undertook a contract, working directly for Auckland Transport, Installing a raised pedestrian crossing outside Kowhai Intermediate School in Mt Eden
In the late summer of 2017, Dunedin Council installed two full on 3D crossings on Clyde Street in Dunedin.
In Late 2015 Resin Surfaces were fortunate to win the contract to apply the pink surfacing to the Nelson street cycle lane bridge. The bridge has become quite a landmark even a tourist attraction in Auckland.
In the Middle of winter 2011, as part of Auckland’s preparation for the world Rugby cup of that year, Resin surfaces installed 1700m2 of coloured stripes on Te-Wero Island and the Eastern Viaduct.
